T.D.'s Success Story
I first met Matt when he started at Quad/Graphics in spring 2008. After having my second child, I already had taken off most of my “baby” weight, but still was not where I wanted to be. I have always worked out, but was not achieving the results I was looking for and was very frustrated. I weighed about 141 and wanted to reach a goal of 130.
Matt listened to my goals and broke it down for me to give me attainable achievements within a certain timeframe. I kept a food journal that he evaluated weekly and also had my Monday morning weigh-ins to keep me on track (and honest). I cut back on my calorie consumption and worked out 6-7 times/week (2-3 days of lifting and the remaining days included some sort of cardio).
His training methods were tailored to my goals and abilities. He focused on different weight lifting techniques and cardio intervals that I never would have considered on my own. Every time I met with him, we did something different, which I enjoyed because it taught me new things that I can use going forward on my own.
Even though I have met, and even surpassed my original goal, I continue to meet with Matt to focus on maintenance and more definition-building activities.
To lose about 10 pounds to weigh 130 pounds.
Lost about 25 pounds and now weigh 117 pounds (and went from a size 12 to a size 4).
