I had more than a few pounds to lose and hadn't been to a gym in several years. I kept telling myself I'd join a gym "next week." Well, next week turned into next year and there I was, even more out of shape. A friend of mine recommended not just joining a gym, but hiring a personal trainer - Joe Kozma - to be specific. Joe works with me to make sure I'm eating right, using the correct form when I lift weights or stretch and keeps an eye on me to make sure I'm doing my cardio. 15 pounds lost, 12 more to go.
