Shannon's Success Story

All throughout my teens and early 20s, I remained at a happy, consistent weight, no matter how much I ate or how little I exercised. Once I hit my mid-20s, I realized that gaining weight became much easier, and losing weight became much harder! By the time I entered my late 20s, I had gained 13 pounds that was seemingly impossible to lose - then I found kettlebell! I first began kettlebell because I was looking to try something different. I found it hard to find a workout routine that I could stick to. I got bored at the gym, and never saw results fast enough, so I would always lose interest, and quit. Kettlebell has changed all that!

KB is a great workout for those of us who are on the go and have busy schedules - it provides a 30 or 45-minute workout that crams as much fat burning and muscle building exercise into that time as possible! Every workout is different, which keeps your mind and your body guessing, and keeps you from getting bored!

Courtney was one of the first trainers that I met when I started Kettlebell. I immediately related to her, as we discussed the daily challenges of being fit and healthy - sticking to a workout schedule, choosing the right foods to eat. She never told me what I was doing was wrong, but instead encouraged me to do what was right. Courtney is sweet, but tough! She understands the obstacles, but encourages you to push past them. She truly sees the potential in every person and fights for what she knows you can achieve. Courtney helped me to realize that it’s not the numbers on the scale that count, but how you feel and how you look!

Because of kettlebell, I have lost inches off my arms, waist, hips, and thighs, and have gained a lot of muscle. I feel stronger, happier, less tired during the day, and less anxious and stressed. Kettlebell has truly improved my state of mind as well as my health. I couldn’t have done it without Courtney’s help! Even now, as she moves on to bigger and better things in Chicago, she still e-mails to check in and check on my progress. She truly motivates me to be the best and the strongest that I can be!
