I have only known sports specific athletes to be concerned with internal/external oblq's. In each case, the specific sport (i.e. roman grecko wrestling) training regimen (mat exercises and drills) was a better apporoach than a non-sport related exercise. The exception would be bodybuilding.

Besides the obvious suggestions, (I'm going to assume you are not an idiot and have already considered seeking medical advce), try allowing the area some seriuos time to heal itself, possibly two weeks off. You'd be surprised what time can do to an injury. Also, be sure to stay hydrated and balanced...

Try not to focus on her inner thing but instead add routines that concentrate on the larger leg muscles because they will feed off of the fat storage, from all over and that means eventually the inner thigh area.
