I think that after a while everything needs a "twist to it" or a mix of something else, particularly with a workout that is as specific as Pilates. Personally I think there's room for everything, I don't believe in just one method of training.

Once you are certain and have medical clearance my suggestion is to be patient and to listen to your client There are days that they will be really exhausted and not able to do much and other days when they are ready to go!
