Hi. I first meet Steph in a group class. I really enjoyed her enthusiasm and variety of challenges she brought to the class. I began to train with her shortly after and I am so glad that I did. I felt like she took a lot of time thinking about the workouts she prepared for me. She encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things that I would have never done on my own. I found after training with her I became more confident in the weight room, I made better food choices because I knew she was going to ask me what I ate over the weekend and she was the first person I text after I ran my first 5k. I so grateful for the encouragement the she has given me and to take control of my life and become a happier and healthier person.

Hello, My name is Cruz and I trained with Stephanie for at least a year, both in group spin classes and had her as a personal trainer. In the group spin class Stephanie was energetic, had great music and was flawless in her transitions, going from one exercise to another. In the personal training aspect of , her knowledge is extensive and was very instrumental in making sure the exercises fit both my needs and abilities. Steph is a top-notch fitness professional who is both an outstanding group fitness instructor and a highly motivational personal trainer. After going to her spinning classes, which were clearly very thoughtfully planned and brilliantly executed, I asked her to do some personal training with me knowing that she had manged to push me further than other instructors, even in a group setting. Steph met and exceeded my every expectation and has set me on a path of increased fitness and wellness. Steph knows how to motivate people by meeting them where they are and then challenging them to better themselves. I think that one of the things that distinguishes her from other trainers I've worked with, is the subtle way that she acknowledges the mental obstacles that keep a person from fulfilling their potential and that, for me, has made all the difference. This mind/body approach is very understated and not in the least bit heavy-handed. Another thing I appreciated about Steph was that she always explained things clearly and succinctly. She's articulate and smart and can educate you as well as train you. She has the perfect temperament to be a fitness instructor and personal trainer. I miss her so much since she left Maryland. I would hire her in an instant if I owned or managed a gym. Fully professional, responsible, competent, and just a really nice person, Steph is first-rate!

Hello! My name is Molly and I used to train with Steph in one of her 'previous lives'! Steph is wonderful - she listens to what your goals are and works to get you where you want to be. She is thorough and an active part of your training. She is very motivational and always keeps an eye on your form to make sure you don't hurt yourself. I found that she was perceptive to my, umm..., competative bull-headedness and pushed me just far enough. As she says above in her 'about me', she will also teach you how to eat healthier and be healthier in all aspects of your life.
In short, she's awesome! And I miss her already :(
