Is their enough stimulation to continually use body weight exercises to gain strength without lifting weights?

Depends on starting level and what you consider strength. If I did bodyweight only all of my lifts would go down, but my squat, deadlift, and good morning are all over 400lbs. Wexford University is ALL online and is partnered with NESTA. John Spencer Ellis runs both. They do offer an Associates degree you might want to look at. Also I think ISSA is now offering an Associates degree online as well.

I don't think the majority of the industry wants licensure, but it would go a long ways to accepting insurance payments I consider myself fairly educated in exercise science, and I know I am not qualified to work with them. I won't take on an obese client.

At this point it is irrelevant whether or not it is a disease, it has been classified as one. What concerns me is if this is going to affect scope of practice for personal trainers. We are not medical providers and working with a "disease" is outside of our scope of practice. This can be bad for us....
