Sarah is a Master Pilates Instructor & Educator offering Pilates Teacher Trainings and Workshops throughout the country and abroad. Like many Pilates instructors, Sarah's movement education is rooted in a lifetime of dance training. She has been teaching for over 15 years. She currently teaches for College of San Mateo, Mission College, UC Santa Cruz, Balanced Body, and as an Independent Contractor.

Sarah is the Founder and Director of College of San Mateo's Pilates Instructor Certificate Program (PICP), offering high quality education at an affordable community college price.     Can't say enough great things about Sarah!
    Most recently, she really helped me with a knee injury.
    Tried a few things for a couple months and just did not have
    any improvements until my first appointment with Sarah. She is so
    thorough and helped to stretch and strengthen my knee. After just
    under a month it is completely better.
    In the past, I have seen her for group and individual pilates sessions. Sarah really knows her stuff and can help you look and feel your best ever!

    I have taken classes w/other Pilates instructors, what a disappointment. We just went through the exercises, seemed more about repetition than actually doing them correctly. Sarah demos & explains what exercise targets what areas & the benefits of doing them. She makes sure you're thinking about all the different aspects you need to pay attention to as you do the exercise. With her, it's all about doing it correctly, being in control & concentrating on the muscles you're working on. You really begin to understand your body so much better with her. She also helps you individually with your personal issues or ailments. She accurately prescribes the right movements for pains or injuries you've sustained. Not a better instructor around!!!

    If you are looking for someone who understands anatomy, who has outstanding knowledge in different areas of fitness, and who can give you an amazing, fun workout, look no further! I'm thoroughly impressed with Sarah as a Pilates Instructor. She is personable, detail oriented, and her experience is reflected in everything she does.     I have been studying pilates for the last 11 years and have taken many workshops from many different teachers and I would put Sarah in the top of the class! She knows her stuff, can explain the exercises in a very understandable way, demo beautifully, and has a very memorable way of instructing the anatomy of the body as it pertains to pilates! She is a joy to learn from and I would highly recommend taking her classes. I am grateful to have had this time studying with her.
