Four years ago, I reached a plateau with my workouts; the closer I got to 40, the harder it became to stay fit. Sara's expertise changed all that. Thanks to the wide variety of things we do, I've had vast improvements in my strength, speed and flexibility. She has brought me to a level I never would have reached on my own--not just because of her technical knowledge (which is impressive), but because she's such a great motivator. I was always intimidated by the weight room; now I'm comfortable there, with both free weights and machines. She also gave me lots of options for training with just body weight or minimal equipment (great for travel and for those times that I just can't get to the gym). And Ultimate Performance is exactly that; I'm doing things I never would have thought possible. At 43, I'm in the best shape of my life!
I have been training with Sara for 5 years now, and she has allowed me to preform at a new level in basketball. She designs the training program to your specific needs and pushes you so that you reach your full potential. She's willing to answer questions and make any changes that you feel will be beneficial. She's a blast to work out with and makes going to the gym fun.
Sara is an outstanding trainer, period. She is extremely well rounded, and has the ability to train everyone from athletes/gymnasts, to new moms or older people looking to lose weight and get fit. She gives options and works within her client's personal preferences so that everyone’s workout is appropriate but effective, manageable and fun. She is non-judgmental, motivating and open to questions. She has been my trainer for over 2 years, and has effectively turned me from a slob into a total badass (true story).
I have known Sara for over 6 years and she is truly a professional. Well a professional with a twist, she not only is an outstanding trainer, she is personal and approachable. Her knowledge of body mechanics is second to none. Her workouts whether in aqua, floor training, machines, or flexibility training she personalizes and helps you to truly understand what your doing and why your doing it. Sara gives you the confidence to believe in yourself as she believes in you. I highly recommend Sara as a trainer for those with mobility issues, chronic diseases, such as arthritis, and anyone who feels intimidated by the use of a trainer. If you are looking for a trainer who not only knows her stuff but truly cares about the person she is training, look no further than Sara Guerard!!!

I have known Sara for several years and have always been impressed by her knowledge, ability, and kindness.
Sara is very approachable and is willing to share her vast knowledge on training, nutrition, and programs. I know she keeps herself well informed of current information and techniques. She encourages a well hydrated and nourished body to get to the next level of fitness in both flexibility and endurance.
Sara believes in good body mechanics and exercising effectively and efficiently. She has been an excellent trainer for me on the nautilus machines, floor exercises, aqua aerobics, and flexibility programs. I like how she creates an individual program for me and then writes down what I need to do, in easily followed steps, to achieve our goals.
Finally, I must admit that I usually feel somewhat intimidated by personal trainers. Not so with Sara as she gives you her vast knowledge and training to make your goals reachable and your time and money well spent. I strongly recommend Sara for those people who have chronic diseases, like arthritis, who wish to remain flexible. I plan on using Sara's talents when I finally have both knees replaced.
On a side note: Sara comes from an excellent family that has dedicated themselves to personal training as both her mother and her husband are also certified personal trainers. I recommend that you book Sara as soon as possible especially if you are requesting early morning or early evening times.
