Rosemary Beall, CWC, CPT, LWMC is owner and founder of Rosie’s Wellness LLC. With over five years experience in the health and fitness industry, Rosemary created this wellness consulting company because she is committed to helping others achieve optimal health and well-being. She has certifications and experience in wellness coaching, personal training, lifestyle and weight management coaching, group exercise, senior’s fitness, corporate wellness programming, CPR/AED and more. Rosemary is certified with Wellcoaches, the world-renowned Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas and the American Council on Exercise. She has developed exercise, healthy eating, and weight loss programs for many satisfied clients of all ages. Rosemary graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies. Currently, she is employed as the part-time wellness coordinator at LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center, where she manages the employee wellness program and on-site fitness center. She directs a wellness committee, organizes budget-friendly employee wellness challenges, presents wellness seminars, publishes weekly wellness tips and monthly wellness newsletters, and recruits employees to join the fitness center. From 2008-2010, Pennington has been recognized by the American Heart Association as a “Fit-Friendly" Company. Providence Corporate Cup presented Pennington with their “Community Wellness Award” in April 2009. She also serves on the Providence Corporate Cup Race Committee, which focuses on corporate wellness. Rosemary is also a member of the Louisiana Advocacy Committee, which strives to encourage state legislators to make health-related public policy changes. During her first year out of college, Rosemary served as wellness coordinator at St. James Place Retirement Community, located in Baton Rouge, where she gained experience in personal training with older adults. She developed employee wellness challenges, presented wellness seminars, screened at health fairs, published wellness newsletters, and taught group exercise classes. Rosemary has presented wellness seminars in locations ranging from Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Whole Foods Market, to local churches. In fact, she led six monthly, half-hour teaching sessions for women on Sunday nights during "Coffee with Rosie" at First Presbyterian Church. During the Spring of 2011, she led a seven-week wellness program for the third grade classes at Buchanan Elementary School, which has a partnership with her church . The course was broken down in two categories – fitness and nutrition – to help children understand that being active and eating well are equally important in maintaining good health and staying fit. Rosemary lives a healthy lifestyle by eating clean foods and exercising 5-6 days per week. She enjoys training for triathlons and 10K races, lifting weights, playing tennis, outdoor cycling, spinning, running, swimming, walking, cooking, singing and traveling the world. Rosemary completed her first triathlon in Hawaii with her husband on their first anniversary (May 1, 2010). She got the triathlon "bug" and has since completed other races. Rosemary strives to educate herself on the latest breakthroughs in wellness. She firmly believes that our bodies are our temples, and practices what she preaches. Rosemary is involved in many activities at her church, such as singing on the worship team and volunteering in the nursery. Her faith is very important to her and she feels blessed that God has given her the opportunity to help others live life well.
