I want to help YOU realize the Joy of Success, I'm here to motivate, advise, encourage and empower you in your journey to better health and fitness (and it's all FREE!). I'm easy to talk to, have a genuine humanistic approach and really WANT you to succeed. My passion comes from my personal successes and I love to share that! (all that, and yeah I'm just a nice guy)
A quote from one of my clients: "...You have BY FAR been the most informational & motivational one." "...You showed general concern towards my workouts & my opinions." How can I NOT feel good about that!!! It's comments like this that motivate me in all that I do :)
Married with a beautiful wife, 4 amazing daughters and 2 awesome sons-in-law, after 15 years active duty in the USAF, I've been in the private sector as a Financial Controller since 1998. I've owned my own Pedicab company since 1994 and am a Personal Trainer and Independent Team Beachbody Coach.
My fitness passion is cycling, prior to starting my own company I was an active endurance cyclist, completing 3-5 double century's each season. My longest single day ride was 300 miles, completed in just under 24 hours elapsed time. I have completed one round of P90X classic, The Beachbody Ultimate Reset, Body Beast (2 rounds), Les Mills Combat, P90X2, FOCUS T25. Additionally I own all of the Beachbody Fitness Programs so I have a full library to be able to answer my clients questions on any program. (Too it gives me a wide variety of workouts to choose from, and I've dabbled in workouts from pretty much every program!)
I'm the owner of Pops' Pedicabs LLC (shameless plug: visit popspedicabs.com and check out my site) ; I have a single pedicab (bicycle taxi) and I do all the driving. This is a dream job as it allows me to spend my weekends riding the pedicab and meeting lots of great people. It's an awesome strength work out as the pedicab empty weighs 160 pounds, add in the average passenger load of (on average) 400 pounds - it's the ultimate quad/calf burner!
The "Day Job". I'm the Financial Controller and HR Manager for a General Contractor specializing in public works projects, I spend Monday - Friday in the office, lots of time spent at the desk, behind the computer. I cringe when I hear people say they are "too busy" to work out, it's like "paying yourself" when you setup personal savings or retirement accounts, we need to make our health and wellness a top priority!
