I have really enjoyed my workouts with Penny. She always challenges me and really has helped me with my balance for my riding. She is extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to past injuries. My only wish is for more time to work out with her more consistently. I hope that time is forthcoming when the kids are back in school! My other wish is to be half as fit as Penny when I am her age! I have been working with Penny for about four months and have been impressed with her wealth of knowledge. Not only have I gained strength, but I now understand the principles behind the exercise. I have known Penny for a very long time, and it wasn't until two years ago that I decided I wanted to loose weight and get fit. I have had a few trainers in the past and I can honestly say that Penny has been the only one to last. I've seen amazing results and have done things I never thought I would be able to.
Most importantly, Penny is personable and informative. She's always answering my food questions and truly wants me to succeed. She is full of knowledge and her sessions are always a challenge. She tries to include exercises that you like whether it be the beach or just being outdoors. What can I say, she's a great trainer!

I have been training with Penny for about one year now and I have to say that my body changed immensely. I am stronger and have lost a lot of bodyfat by working out with her twice a week and eating healthier following the diet suggestions she gave me.
In a very encouraging and motivating way she has pushed me to my limits multiple times and shown me what I'm capable of and most importantly: training with her is fun!

Penny teaches equestrian specific fitness for several clients at the barn where my horse is stabled. She emphasizes core and lateral exercises which benefit both the rider and the horse. She sets up target heart rates for interval training and as part of her initial evaluation will also do a nutrition profile based on the client's stated goals.
Penny does an excellent job monitoring the way the client is performing the exercises and is quick to correct poor form. She has a very motivational style of progressive exercises constantly challenging the client.
