I currently work as an In Home Personal Trainer, and with groups in their work place. I specialize in corrective exercise, fat loss, toning, and individual client nutrition assessment and education. Each new client is given a full assessment, including health status, posture, current measurements, and body fat percentage. Goals are discussed, and put into a plan of action. Any posture issues are addressed with corrective exercise. Each client is required to keep a food diary that is reviewed and assessed regularly. Measurements and body fat are also checked regularly to ensure the client is seeing the best results possible. I use a number of training methods with each client. Every persons assessment will yield different results, so training is customized to individual needs. Some examples of the type of training I do are: Myofascial release (posture issues) Corrective Exercise Balance and Stability Core Resistance Training Weight Training I require my clients to keep track of their nutrition because it is a huge factor in the results they see. Without the right nutrition, a client will not lose fat or gain muscle the way they should! I review each new clients current nutrition habits, and create an example food plan based off what they do and don’t like to eat. Once a client is following the new food plan, frequent measurement and body fat checks are made to make sure they are getting the nutrition they need. Fine tuning a clients exercise and food plan based off these results will help get them to their goals quickly and efficiently. I believe in making a lifestyle change, not just meeting a short term goal. I teach my clients how to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I don't just explain what should be done, but make sure my clients understand the science behind how each choice effects them.
