Millie owned and operated a chocolate factory in Southern CA for 25 years before launching a new career in fitness and health. After earning her BS degree, she decided to continue with school and obtain a Master's degree enabling her the opportunity to teach at Orange Coast College. She taught Hatha Yoga there for 6 years and was integral in developing a 2nd level yoga course for the college. Last year with California budget cuts, the Eastern movement courses were cut from the program, and another door opened at Cal State Long Beach. She is now beginning her 2nd semester of part-time Yoga instruction at CSULB, along with a full time position at Boeing Long Beach Fitness Center as Fitness & Programs Coordinator. She has a passion for assisting others in attaining their health and fitness goals, and has embraced Hatha Yoga as an integral part of her daily life, making it easy for her to teach its principles. Millie selectively trains a small group of individuals out of her garage-gym utilizing CrossFit, Yoga, and Pilates methods and movements. She incorporates humor and drive into her teaching, and hopes she can continue to motivate her students and clients to take responsibility for their health & fitness by living to their greatest potential.
