I truly believe in fitness more than just a way of getting in shape, but a way to feel better about yourself and a way to truly improve your entire life, body and soul. It is truly about building yourself both physically and mentally.

Over the past 3 years I have had the pleasure of helping many people reach there goals; a lot of these involving weight loss, building posture and increased strength and flexibility. I am currently working on further my career through specializing in back injury prevention and post rehab.     Mike has been my trainer since October 2013.
    He has successfully managed to help me fit high quality regular exercise into my busy life.
    Our twice weekly training sessions at Poirier and the SHD gym have made a big difference in my overall strength, endurance and flexibility.My posture has noticeably improved.
    Mike is intuitive and uses his wide understanding of exercise, to adjust my workouts on the fly. Mike understands how to isolate areas of muscle weakness and inflexibility to help me achieve good form and balance, as he increases the intensity of the work, all the while encouraging me to achieve to higher levels.
    I am proud of what I have achieved with Mike's help, and strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to commit to regular, fun and effective workouts that truly make a difference!
