I knew I wanted a career in the health and fitness industry at an early age. I lead an active lifestyle that ranges from wakeboarding to weekend hikes. I have coached, mentored and competed as a multi-sport athlete throughout the years. After serving on active duty for five years in the United States Marine Corps, I received degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology from San Diego State University. I learned valuable lessons to include a wide range of exercise modalities, motivation techniques for healthy eating habits, as well as working hands-on with clients with disabilities. On a never-ending quest for education, I am a certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200), Group Exercise Instructor (AFAA), Strength and Conditioning Specialist (ACSM) and Lifestyle/Weight Management Consultant (PN)). I have always maintained a strong desire to help individuals set and reach goals, both in the gym and in personal lives. I have seen the significant impact that exercise, proper nutrition and hard work can have on an individual’s life. I am a firm believer in the quote, “We are always a work in progress.” I train because I enjoy helping people progress and seeing the fulfillment it brings to their lives.
