Client Reviews/Comments
I have been training with Mel since June of this year. I cannot say enough good things about the person she is. Mel is the type of trainer who is in it for all of the right reasons. She is there to encourage, to push, to drag, and to inspire. She carries an uncanny ability to read people and know when they need to be pushed while maintaining the ability to not push so hard they feel she is against them. It's not just about the weekly sessions (or biweekly or whatever you select) it's about building a solid foundation and working from there.
A few months into the training with Mel I went through one of the biggest personal shifts that I may ever go through in my life. She carried me through maintaining where I was at until I hit a new point of stability and readiness to once again work hard at reaching my goals. If I did not have her in my life I am quite confident that I would have reverted back to my old habits and I would once again be starting from "square one."
With Mel it isn't about the quick fix. It's about the lifelong commitment to caring for yourself. It's doing things in a way that sets you up to live a life of health, fitness, and vitality. Mel inspires that daily by being the person she is. Her energy level is positive, she wants her clients to succeed, and she will stop at nothing to find a way to make that happen as long as they remain willing.
I will forever be grateful for Mel's influence in my life and I will forever be inspired by her willingness to accept people for who they are while still pushing them to be the best version of themselves possible!

After a tramatic military incedent, I was stuck to a hospital bed for 5 months followed by 6 months in a wheelchair. Needless to say, when I first came to Mel asking if she could help me, I was in a wheelchair stuggling to transition from one platform to the other. Fast foward to today, 5 months later, I have pasted my offical PT exam with a 91% and did it with a run time of 11:43 WITHOUT MY RUNNING IDEO which is huge. I know I NEVER would of reached this goal without her.
Melissa is an awesome personal trainer. I could not do half of the things I do today without her help and knowledge. I have learned so much from her. Because of her I have accomplished things that I never thought I could and she will never let you give up. When we workout I actually enjoy it and not think of it as just another task. Thanks Melissa for all your hard work and encouragement.
