I have a passion to help people create a purposeful life by re-training the mindset for positive performance.
I want to inspire people to reach their full potential; turning the impossible to possible!
I began my career as a teacher in the 1970's. But in 1993, I had a vision to explore my entrepreneurial leanings. I opened a personal training studio, Fitness Matters in Stamford and Kent, CT without any prior business knowledge. When I opened my first studio, people said I would fail. I didn't listen. I believed I would succeed. I opened the second studio in 2005; and, I successfully sold both--the last one in 2011!
My credentials include Doctor of Applied Sports Psychology, advanced degrees in education and a certification by the American Council on Exercise for personal training. My fitness certifications include program design for seniors, prenatal and postnatal, and cancer recovery. I am certified by Coachville, LLC as an Associate Certified Coach and through the American Council on Exercise as a Behavior Change Specialist. I am a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and the International Positive Psychology Association. As a positive performance life coach, I challenge clients to identify unconscious patterns of resistance, and expand their possibilities by moving them out of their comfort zone to create an alignment of thoughts, feelings, and actions to become fully alive and get great results.
My coaching method is "Explore, Expand, and Evolve into YOU!" I coach people who want to explore their options, expand their awareness, and evolve into greatness.
