Marc Mason

The biggest challenge we face as fitness professionals is that no two people have the same DNA, so no two people have the same metabolism and they definitely don’t need the same fitness program. Measuring and learning each person’s history, their needs and the way they approach their lives is as important as measuring their waist line or evaluating their fitness levels.

Personal training is much about art as it is about science. It’s finding the unique combination of coaching, listening and instructing and delivering it in a way that shows the individual that exercise is not an occasional chore but that living an active lifestyle is a life-long pleasure.

Certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as both personal trainer and weight management coach, I’ve been training and coaching since 2001. Since then I’ve helped numerous people meet their fitness goals, with functional movement being a primary goal.

I believe that fitness should be both fun and functional and is not just for today, or tomorrow, but fitness should be for an entire lifetime.
