If you want to get in shape, see Luisa! If you want to have fun getting in shape, see Luisa! I started almost 3 years ago having one on one sessions to condition my body. After 4 months I was declared fit to join the group sessions. I started with a weak, arthritic hip on which I could hardly place any pressure to a fully functioning hip and leg within just a few weeks. Her programs, along with Alana, her invaluable aide, have kept my body tuned up and, as one of her oldest clients, I'm able to more than keep up with the youngsters in my group. Be prepared to work hard, sweat and, as part of the workout, laugh a lot! I don't think she knows it, but Luisa has me for the rest of my life, which will be considerably longer than it would have been if not for her. Thank you Lui & Alana too!

Several years back I suffered from some mobility issues in my left shoulder (misplaced tetanus shot) and problems with lower back pain. I found Luisa through her then employer Gold's Gym. I explained to her what I wanted to accomplish and that for the lower back issues we'd have to work on chiropractor approved exercises. Luisa layed out a plan which we followed for six weeks. At the end of that time both problems were solved. I just wish Luisa still practiced on the peninsula because I'd still be going to her. She makes exercise fun and effective.

I’ve hired a number of personal trainers over the years, but no one as knowledgeable and fun to workout with as Luisa. She is the end all, be all of trainers. Be prepared to work harder than you ever have before, laugh and have a great time all at once. What sets Luisa apart from all other trainers? She pays attention to your body type and physiology, knows exactly what to do to achieve your goals and genuinely wants to see all of her clients fit, healthy and happy. She’ll probably tell you I’m her “problem child” as I have a habit of training intensely, getting fit and then falling (if not jumping) off the wagon like no one before; and yet, Luisa is always there for me -- as she will be for you -- whether or not I’m in training mode. We touch base regularly and have become great friends. I never have to worry about hiring another personal trainer since Luisa is just a phone call away. I highly recommend working out with her…you’ll be hooked! Oh, and a PSA to all new clients: do not show up to your first training session hungover…I made that mistake and was promptly sent home to hydrate. :-)

When I was living in Fremont this lady was my trainer. I did one on ones, partner training, and group sessions. This lady kicked my butt all up and down the workouts. I felt amazing afterwards, had a great time, great laughs, and got work done. She became a mother for the group I worked out with (usually a group of us guys) and we ended calling her mother. Variety galore with training: sledgehammer, tire flips, parachute runs, TRX (nicknamed the t-rex), resistance bands, ladders, everything untraditional. As far as results at male 6'2" 9% bodyfat and weighed 208 when I left California. I wish I could go back right now.
