I've been attending Lori's class for almost a decade now. Her spirit and energy stand out. I hang out at Kripalu and have experienced some of the best yoga instructors around and Lori is even better. As a regular in her classes, you feel a part of her team and she asks you what asanas you need and even offers to work one in if she can to help your body if you ask her right before the class, definitely if you ask her before she creates the flow for three classes. She makes sure her practice is varied, solid and safe. She is a dedicated and nurturing teacher.
I love Lori!..I have been with her now for about 5 years, and in all the years has kept her classes fun, safe, and will challenge you no matter what level you are at. Lori does not make you feel negative if you cannot do something, there is always something that can be modified if one cannot do the exercise. Lori is always reminding people in her class if you have a shoulder injury, back problem, knee problem how do do the exercise safely. She has such a great personality that it is infectious! Always smiling and giving encouragement, "Say yes to yourself". What more could you ask for in an instructor? sr
this instructor is the best. i have been with lori for eight years and anticipate at least eight more. she motivates me more than i can say. even when i am not in class, i hear her words. "challenge yourself but listen to your body". always a presence. she is always changing it up and keeps it very interesting. the classes are fun and most invigorating. she is thoughtful and very concerned about her students. always asking if she can concentrate on anyones discomforts. couldn't think of being in a better place. plus, she loves cape cod as much as i do. nb
I've been in a number of Lori's classes over the past 6 years. She has kept it interesting enough that this former couch potato keeps coming back. She has helped me gain both strength as well as flexibility. She can push you but always reminds us to " listen to your body." She has difficulty levels for most exercises so you can push yourself to get the most out of the session. Lori is a wonderful caring person as well as a great teacher! JB

I've been with Lori for years and she's a great instructor. She keeps the class interesting by adding a new twist to a familiar pose. She encourages us to tell her before class if we are having any aches or pains so she can add poses to help with the problem. She has the unique ability to make everyone in class feel special. She's the best!
I have been with Lori for about 5 years now. Her classes are for everyone, and she has great ability to modify exercises to your fitness level. She has genuine concern for your well being, both physically and mentally. Her classes have helped me change my body...I am stronger and toner than I have ever been before.
I find Lori to be very clear in her instructions for each pose/exercise, very helpful to make sure I am aligned and doing exercises correctly and very informative on why we are doing a specific exercise, what muscles are involved and how it's benefiting me.
It's great that she also will offer alternatives for different people, including alternatives for those who might have a sensitive shoulder, knee or even pregnant. Everyone gets a challenging and yet safe workout. She does all this while smiling, encouraging and keeping everyone motivated. She is fun and she works us hard.
Lori has a great personality, is very caring and I find myself doing stuff and working muscles I didn't even know existed.. and coming back for more.. She is the best instructor I've had and my long tenure in her classes show that I appreciate her style and her approach to health and exercise. As much as possible, I will not schedule anything else on Mondays so I can be in the two classes: exercise and yoga!

Lori is one of the most positive and encouraging people I know. She works hard to develop new and challenging classes each week, and her instruction is excellent. Her friendly, cheerful attitude has helped to develop a wonderful sense of camaraderie among the class participants. We laugh (and groan) together! I've been taking Lori's classes twice a week for the past 8 years, and have seen such a change in my body's strength, balance, and flexibility. I know Lori's goal is to continually challenge us so that our bodies will change, and it sure is working!
Lori is one of the best instructors I have ever had. She's very knowledgeable about how our bodies work so can continually strengthen and challenge us all the while making sure no one gets hurt. She knows how to adapt what she's planned for individual's needs. She's a sweetheart and her classes are fun. I'm never bored.
