Who can’t feel awesome with a little fresh air and wind in the face! For me, it’s the best solution for stress and just day-to-day challenges. It helps clear the mind, get the blood pumping, increasing energy and improving attitude. In addition, it’s a great way to maintain vigorous health and vitality, and make you younger than your years. Current Fitness Regime: I enjoy doing some form of cardiovascular activity every day, whether it’s walking, running, step aerobics, cycling, elliptical trainer, or a combination of several modes. Every other day I do total body strength training of some type – weight equipment, freeweights, bands, pilates. For flexibility, balance, and mental relaxation, you can’t beat yoga. For my own benefit, I practice twice a week. Favorite Activities/Hobbies: Hiking – Shenandoah National Park is one of my favorite weekend getaways; gardening (I’ll be canning for the first time this summer!); hanging out with my four-legged friends, all rescues (3 cats, 2 dogs), studying nutrition, and learning to cook delicious healthy meals . . . and I am attempting to make a variety of good fresh breads this year (in moderation!). Exercise Philosophy: If you want change in your life, don’t wait! Start now setting firm realistic goals, how you plan to achieve them . . . write them down where you can see them every day and DO it! No excuses! YOU are in control . . . and if this means a personal trainer can help you with that, I am here for you.

    Linda is a very thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate trainer! She helped me come to a better understanding of what I needed to and could accomplish through exercise and nutrition. She really listened to me and helped me develop attainable goals and meet them.

    Linda has also become a trusted friend. Imrecentlymhad cancer surgery and she encouraged me and cheered me on throughout my recovery. Once I am able to begin exercising again, I know she will be there with me helping me develop a fitness plan tailored to my needs...and I can't wait to begin again!

    Linda is the ultimate trainer. At every class or training, I learn new ways to achieve my fitness goals. The mix of exercises as well as her kind and outgoing personality make the workouts a true pleasure.

    Linda offers the total package: great work outs, wonderful nutrition advise, beneficial health guidance and most importantly, ongoing encouragement. Linda has helped me reduce my weight and BMI while improving my strength and overall health. Linda's approach is safe, consistant and maintainable. I highly recommend Linda without reservations. She is truly fantastic!
