I start with shoulder, ankle and knee trigger point work (5+/- minutes), foam roll, THEN a dynamic warmup, to "loosen" joints. The last 2-3 minutes of the hour is spent with some static stretching, more than anything to get the heart-rate down.

I, too, teach at local community college, teach some classes at a yoga studio, and train clients at their homes. So I diversify! I've also filmed a fitness dvd that will (hopefully) soon by downloadable on Amazon and Fitness TV.

I love Insanity for myself, and wouldn't use it with any of my clients. I do use pieces of P90X with some clients. That's what makes 'personal training' personal.

1st, the results. Yes, you get results. It's a good, intense workout, and not for the deconditioned. The recovery formula--- I have some of the original recipe, which tastes like a creamcycle. A nice, balanced formula designed to be taken right after an intense workout.
