I am an ACE certified fitness trainer committed to enriching quality of life by providing inspiration, education, motivation & the design & implementation of safe & effective exercise programs for healthy & resolved adults. I believe that healthy food choices & simple physical activity, strength/resistance training especially, is the key to weight loss/maintenance, preventing osteoporosis, and living a long, healthy and happy life! My workouts include a unique blend of core, balance, sculpting & strengthening exercises, utilizing a combination of mat, body weight, bands, stability ball & hand held weights, to perform multi-joint compound exercises, enabling my clients to achieve maximum results in minimum time. Known for the design & implementation of adaptive exercise programs, I believe that everyone can exercise and make a positive difference in their life. Although the human spirit is invincible I do realize that our bodies are limited in varying degrees, and believe that through exercise we all have the ability to improve our health and fitness level, and thereby quality of life, by doing what we can with what we have. All of my programs are non-impact & modification friendly, offering a gentle on the joints comprehensive workout for all levels. I offer my personal & small group fitness programs on-site in private residences, recreation & senior centers, offices, schools & fitness facilities.     I have had the privilege of working with Lin for just over a year now. She is an extremely knowledgeable, bubbly, understanding and caring person, and these qualities make her an exceptional fitness instructor. She can be very accommodating and flexible, but somehow it is never at the expense of your workout! It has always been a struggle to get me to anything resembling a gym, but Lin truly makes it an event to look forward to. I consistently feel that my time with her is very well spent. I always feel better after her class and a good kind of sore for days after. She genuinely cares about her clients, and it makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

Lin is so relatable and entertaining that the residents forget they are even exercising! She is one of the most reliable vendors I have ever had the privilege of meeting.     I have participated in several classes with Lin. Currently, I take the Strength and Balance
    Class in Auburn. Before I started this class, I had great difficulty walking and climbing up and down stairs as well as stiffness in my hands. I now have good mobility and very little pain. Her program includes an exercise for every part of the body and I especially like that she relates this exercise to what muscles and joints are being used. She also has great recipe ideas. I am eating much healthier.
    My fellow participants agree that Lin is just the best! We love her sparkling personality and her positive attitude.

    Lin has been teaching an exercise class for the town of Paxton for a couple of weeks now and we all love her. She brings so much enthusiasm and energy to her class. Her work out of toning and sculpturing is fantastic. You can feel your muscles working and toning. Everyone enjoys her class and looks forward to the next week.

    Physical FitnessTrainer, Lin Hultgren is one of the best kept secrets of central Massachusetts!
    As an entomologist, doing field research in the Boston Parks, I have to carry, set and climb a ten foot ladder multiple times during a single monitoring session. After several weeks of attending her fitness class I definitely have more upper and lower body strength with an increased range of motion in both my shoulders and hips. All of this allows me more control when using my field equipment.
    Lin's Strength Training & Sculpting Class is fun, safe, and rewarding. Just as important is the fact that Lin cares about each student and makes an effort to encourage each of us in our personal goals.
