I am an ACE certified fitness trainer committed to enriching quality of life by providing inspiration, education, motivation & the design & implementation of safe & effective exercise programs for healthy & resolved adults. I believe that healthy food choices & simple physical activity, strength/resistance training especially, is the key to weight loss/maintenance, preventing osteoporosis, and living a long, healthy and happy life! A unique blend of core, sculpting & strengthening, utilizing compound exercises utilizing a combination of mat, body weight, elastics, stability ball & hand held weights enable my clients to achieve maximum results in minimum time. I am known for my program design & implementation of adaptive exercise programs, and believe that everyone can exercise and make a positive difference in their life. All of my programs are non-impact & modification friendly, offering a gentle on the joints comprehensive workout for all levels. 'Feminine Fitness' is my specialty, assisting female clients to transform fat into lean muscle, which increases metabolism to burn more calories, even while the body is at rest. This program features a series of lower body exercises to tighten & tone traditional 'trouble' areas & keep cellulite in check.
Some of my clients choose to supplement their sculpting & core strengthening program with an energizing session of World Fusion Dance Cardio to further target the traditional female fat zones of the hips thighs & glutes, as well as developing a stronger sense of balance, coordination, and grace

    Physical FitnessTrainer, Lin Hultgren is one of the best kept secrets of central Massachusetts!
    As an entomologist, doing field research in the Boston Parks, I have to carry, set and climb a ten foot ladder multiple times during a single monitoring session. After several weeks of attending her fitness class I definitely have more upper and lower body strength with an increased range of motion in both my shoulders and hips. All of this allows me more control when using my field equipment.
    Lin's Strength Training & Sculpting Class is fun, safe, and rewarding. Just as important is the fact that Lin cares about each student and makes an effort to encourage each of us in our personal goals.

    I have never had to exercise a day in my life...until now. I am 49 years old and feel every bit of it. The girls in my office contacted Lin to come out twice a week for her "little black dress" work out and I have to say I love it! Well, not really, its a great workout, and Lin is totally motivating, but after 1 month my butt is hard as a rock...and THAT I love!
    I feel I have regained some range of motion and stamina and only expect it to get better and better as I discipline myself to a healthier life style. So if you would like to get the butt you think you have but really don't, this is the work out for you!

    I began Lin's Complete Body Workout class at a difficult time in my life. Not only did she tailor my workout specifically to my abilities and limitations, but she maintained a positive and uplifting attitude that clearly affected every member of the class. Ms. Hultgren is certainly knowledgeable, personable, and professional, but beyond that, her class and the holistic nature of her workout and mindset have become a bright spot in my life - something I look forward to even on a bad day, because of the feelgood nature of the experience. I would highly encourage anyone interested in improving their lives, whether physically, mentally or spiritually, to join one of Lin's classes. You'll be glad you did!

    Pat Otteson (client) I started going to Lin's classes in Auburn. I just love the classes. We have so much fun. it makes the work out fly by. She makes everyone feel good about what they are doing and if you have trouble with an exercise she makes sure she finds a way for you to do it without hurting yourself. I really look forward to the classes on Tuesday and Thursdays.
