This is rampant throughout most clubs, all have made great points on this. What you do is continue to interact with clients prior to and post workouts. But mainly instill pride in the trainers and reward them for good work.

I totally agree with Robert, rest is important even if you are not involved in physical activity. Your body needs to rest and sleep in order to keep it working for optimal daily performance.
