Kris has been my coach for the past couple of years, and I can honestly say I could not have asked for better training, both physically and mentally. Kris has a unique coaching ability; he teaches me how to execute my shots under perfect conditions and then helps me, a stubborn perfectionist, to overcome my exacting style to accept that every ball is different. Kris understands my learning style and caters my lessons and training towards what is best for me. He is extremely knowledgeable in injury prevention and recovery, and he’s definitely the reason I haven’t spent the last two years in and out of PT. The workouts he gives me off the court leave me feeling like I am definitely making progress towards getting stronger. I really feel like he cares about me as an athlete, which definitely helps me to gain confidence. I often wonder if I would love working out and playing tennis as much as I do if I hadn’t worked with Kris -- something tells me I wouldn’t be counting down the hours until my next lesson. Kris is definitely one of my role models, and I hope one day I can help someone as much as he’s helped me.

So if you’re looking for a trainer, do what my mom and I always do when we have a question about what I should eat before a match or how I should warm up: ask Kris. If you want a coach who creates personalized workouts, stabilizes unstable shoulders and hips, and perfectly blends positivity with hard work, then you’ve found the right guy.

I have been lucky enough to train with Kris off-court for 2 years and have him be my coach on-court for a little over a year. I can’t even begin to say how much Kris has improved my game not only physically, but also mentally. The mental toughness and knowledge that he instills in his students is impeccable and cannot be compared. As a Division 1 tennis player, I have a lot of confidence that Kris understands the level that I need to train, in order to be a successful athlete. His knowledge of the human body and its functions is incredible and he always is looking to learn something new and teach it to his students immediately. Kris also makes it a priority to check on his students even when they are not training with him and make sure they are eating the right foods and getting the right amount of sleep necessary to perform at a high level each day. I look forward to having Kris as my coach for many years to come and helping me improve my game during the off-season. Thanks coach for everything that you continue to do for me!
