In training for a triathlon what is the best way to improve back strength so that the transition from bike to swim is smoother?

Thank you for your suggestions. I meant to write swim to bike not the opposite. ( dyslexia kicking in). I do pilates on a regular basis. So I'm not really sure if my core strength was an issue. Ill try some of these tips and see if they help. I only started swimming before my first triathlon. ...
