For several years I have had health problems and back pain. After seeing the benefits a family member was receiving from Kim's classes at Energy Fitness, I enrolled in an 8-week yoga workshop. Now, almost a year later I'm still enjoying classes every week. My health, both mind and body, are so much better because of Kim's knowledge, guidance and kindness. Kim's joyful spirit makes the classes fun, inspirational and healing.

Dear Energy Kim,
I am having some problems with my weight. I have been working out with you for the past (almost) 8 months and these problems seem to be increasing. I keep the food journal in which I share with you before the workouts. I try to and practice your suggestions with the food that I eat (vegetables! milk.) and have even limited the amount of breads that I should eat (oh my, withdrawal I have endured). I even practice at home yoga moves and research vie internet...but Energy Kim...now I can't keep my pants up and t-shirts just hang on me. Such problems I am now enduring...:) Thanks to you. :) Joy

PS. It has now been a little over a year since I began working with Kim. The clothes keep hanging more & more. In fact, now I have to buy another new belt. I have learned to eat vegetables I snubbed since I was a kid. That's it...I keep learning and improving myself as an individual which is gratifying.

Love Kim's yogi classes. It is a good way to start your day. I have seen Kim grow as an instructor over the past few years and I think she is excellent at what she does. I recently took a personal fitness class with Kim. It was the best thing I have done for myself in recent years. I was having hip and shoulder problems from years of teaching, during this class Kim worked with me with selected exercises to help my problem areas. I have been pain free for months. An added bonus is the fact I lost 10 pounds and gained upper body strength.
Kim also encouraged me to log my calories on a daily basis, although I thought my diet wasn't too bad, I was just eating too much, hence getting that under control help with the weight loss and hopefully will bring my weight to a healthy level.
After years of being off and on with diet and exercise I think that Kim has help me set the pace for a healthy lifestyle that I can sustain.
Kim makes coming to class enjoyable because of her approach to her participants. She has a caring concern for each person, encourages without pushing participants to go deeper in their exercise experience and sets a good example in her approach to a healthy lifestyle.
As long as Kim continues to teach, I will be a student.

Kim is a great instructor, she pushes you to do well, she is encouraging in her approach not demeaning. I have lost about 20 pounds, my energy level in up, I am more flexiable and just feel better both mentally and physically. I have taken 2 sessions of group personnel fitness classes, and I also take a yogo/pilate. I am looking forward to my continued good health............as I tell my 4 year old Grandson when he ask why I am going I say, "because I want to dance at your wedding"..........Going to Kim's will keep me on that path.
