About 10 or 12 years ago I decided that I should add some weight training to my tennis, biking & roller blading exercise. I tried a class @ a local gym - Ken was the leader. As I was loading up my weight bar Ken said, "If you haven't done this kind of training for a while you will want to start out with lighter weight." I thought, "I'm in pretty good shape, I think I know how much I can lift!" Ken was right & I learned from the start that Ken's attention to each class member was RIGHT ON!! If you make the decision to pursue a fitness life style, Ken Smith is the person you want for meeting your goals. Just do it!

I have worked out with Ken for over a year and I really look forward to our sessions. I have always worked out but because of Ken I am stronger and lifting more than I ever thought I could. He's great at keeping the sessions fun and challenging. He enjoys helping you achieve your goals while keeping you safe from injury. I would highly recommend Ken to anyone.

I have worked out with Ken Smith on and off for several years. He is an awesome instructor. He focuses on form and safety when using weights. He is very knowledgeable and provides a workout with minimal risk of injury because he teaches the right way to do things, he applies certain weight training techniques to activities of daily living to prevent injury. His classes change from week to week with a focus on different muscle groups, he mixes things up. He LOVES push ups!! but I can say when I started with Ken I could do about 6 full body push-ups, I can now do at least 4x that. I am definitely stronger than before I started with Ken and he does say "stick with me for 6 months and I guarantee you will be 20% stronger". He will encourage you to push yourself.

I've worked out with Ken four times a week for a couple of years now and wow what a change. I mix his weight training workouts with my running and I have seen huge improvements in my tone, strength, agility, balance and endurance. Ken works on those annoying problem areas that we all have. He also focuses on form for maximum performance. I would highly suggest Ken to anyone who wants to get a great personalized workout!
