My latest fitness and wellness endeavor was to attend a life changing, educational MELT hand and foot instructor seminar in CA. Its a form of hands off body work that can heighten your body's ability to repair and heal itself. You can improve alignment , flexibility, energy, and performance, as well as, reduces aches and pains, headaches, cellulite and wrinkles. I have now added this absolutely amazing tool to my client programming. In the beginning I was a personal trainer, then in 2001, I fell in love with Pilates and how it made my clients look and feel. Now, I teach both group and private classes on the Pilates Equipment and Mat work, I design and teach personalized fitness programming in homes and at the Sports Club of Novi and, of course, I teach my clients to MELT".     Before I started taking Pilates, my fitness routine comprised mostly running and half heartedly working out with free weights and resistance machines. I met Kathi when I started taking Pilates and she transformed my entire approach to fitness and health. She is a wonderfully talented teacher and she takes great care to assess her client's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. She has a wonderful sense of humor and great compassion. I am the strongest I have been in my entire life, have good muscle tone and strength, and I enjoy my work out. Kathi helped get me back into my workout routine after knee replacement surgery. She knows just how far to push me to get the results I want.
    Pilates is catnip!!!

    I started taking a Pilates class a little over two years ago with Kathi. I was a little self conscious at first because I was a beginner and others in the class were more advanced. Kathi made me feel very comfortable and adjusted the difficulty of each exercise to match the skill level. I absolutely love Pilates and it's because of Kathi - she mixes up the routines every week and keeps the class fun and interesting. She's very calm and always provides a great workout. I know I am stronger and have much better posture because of Pilates. Thanks, Kathi!

    I have just recently begun Pilates with Kathi. During my initial classes she analyzed my physical strengths and weaknesses. I now participate in a group class during which Kathi circulates amongst the participants giving each of us personal pointers. Her class is physically challenging. Yet you always leave with a sense of accomplishment. The class is a great experience. Kathi works with you regarding scheduling. Always listens to your questions and comments.

    Kathi introduced me to Pilates in Jan 2011. She has been very positive and I look forward to coming to her class. She has been very flexible to my schedule . I had not worked out in several years. She has really taken the time to get to help introduce me to Pilates and help me improve each week. I have gained more strength and now am able to try other things at the Novi club. I have recommended Kathi to many of my friends. Thanks again Kathi for your extra efforts!!

    Kathi is very intuitive and knowledgeable as a personal trainer.

    When my Pilates instructor retired several years ago I was never able to find an instructor that understood back injuries until Kathi. She is aware of each persons needs whether it is in a personal session, semi private or group.

    I would recommend her as an excellent trainer particularly if you have a history of injuries- knee, shoulder, neck and back. I would rate her as a 5 star trainer!!!!!
