Karen is a motivating and fun personal trainer. I've been training with her off and on for six years after a life affirming surgery. I credit her coaching style with my continued efforts to keep an active lifestyle. She worked with me to understand the connections between my nutritional needs and provided me with several cardio/weight/resistance routines to make daily exercise possible. If I'm not working out at the gym, I am working out at home.

I love my sessions with Karen! She is definitely inspiring and always seeks ways to make exercising enjoyable and challenging!

By: Joan. I have been working with Karen for almost 10 years on a weekly basis. In that time her knowledge, encouragement and flexibility with my various aches and aging issues has helped me to remain fit and energetic. She varies routines which prevents boredom, listens to and addresses my concerns and functions as a cheerleader which is wonderful. I don't think a more positive and constructive trainer could be found.

Karen listens well when I mention the aches and frustrations of a 65 year old with arthritis and type one diabetes. She offers the compassion of your favorite, old-time, country doctor, but pulls no punches when teaching balance, form and fitness. "What was your breakfast?" "What will you have for lunch?" "How many times were you here this week?" "How long were you on the treadmill today?" "Are you beginning to feel better?" "How much weight have you lost?" I have endured 14 months of this and find that I like it. Karen knows her stuff and cares about her clients.

i have been training with Karen for 15 months. we do Pilates and i must tell you i had never done Pilates prior to working w/Karen. i truly enjoy every session. she always asks
is there anything we did not do that i was expecting.
Karen adds something new to every session and i think that is why i enjoy the sessions.
She is always upbeat and she motivates me to push myself.
i am also impressed that she focusees on every part of the session to make sure i am doing everything correctly.
Karen is very good at what she does.

I have been training with Karen Chenoweth for seven years!

When we started, I was disabled by back pain from all the insults of pregnancies and middle age. She took me from almost completely immobile to strong and flexible.

She is very, very good at the technical aspects of getting in shape from the core out.

But the thing about Karen that I think made my recovery possible is actually her personality, or her skill with people. She is both an optimist and a pragmatist. She sees the good, and knows how to work around the bad. She is totally non judgmental, and yet has fantastic ideas. She is encouraging, supportive, and inspiring.
