I am a former pharmacist, mother of three and native Bay Area resident with about 10 years working in fitness. I have personally experienced many of the ups and downs of trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle through proper diet and exercise, so I am in a unique position to help my clients.

I have worked with clients from 16 to 90 years old, and designed programs to accommodate a wide variety of fitness goals, whether that is improving your tennis or golf game, weight loss, playing with the grandkids, or simply maintaining the ability to live an independent lifestyle.

    I have known Judy Chong since 2006, first as a peer graduate student, second as co-founder of the KPE student Club, and third as a colleague instructor at Las Positas College and substitute exercise physiologist at Lake Park Retirement Residence. As far as I know, her broad basis of knowledge in the field of science and wellness is quite uncommon in the Bay area, whether it be in pharmacology, nutrition, exercise physiology, or general fitness. She holds more fitness certifications than anyone I have ever met, and I have only heard high praise from clients, students, and other professionals who have been involved with her. Judy also keeps abreast of any new trend as much through her readings as through her regular attendance at various fitness and wellness conventions. Over time, I have had the opportunity to appreciate her impeccable organizational skills, commitment to high quality standards, and contagious passion for the transmission of knowledge. Through her personal network, I have made several very beneficial trade connections, and the students she has referred me as interns for my fall prevention program have been outstanding.

    In sum, I believe that Judy has a most varied baggage of technical and interpersonal skills that can benefit clients and students of all ages as well as any potential employer. I have seen her prepare complex nutrition and fitness classes with very little time at her disposal and handling difficult students with much tact and diplomacy. In my view, she has proven to be very creative, quick to adapt to any situation, and most reliable. Overall, I recommend her highly!

    I have been training with Judy for about 5 years. As a 67 year old female I am thrilled to be stronger, more flexible and more aware of my strengths after time with Judy. I faced a major medical crisis this year and I am certain that being fit and physically strong made it much easier for me to recover in a very short time period. In fact my physician said that anyone who exercises regularly recovers from illness better and in a more timely manner and that I was a shining example of that premise.
    So do yourself a favor, get fit with Judy and reap the rewards.

    I've always found Judy to be incredibly knowledgeable on the latest exercise techniques and she always finds new ways of challenging me. Judy is technique focused, research driven and creative. You will not be bored with her workouts.
