My name is Jon McQueen, and I've been a Professional Personal Trainer and Strength Coach for over 6 years. I've worked with all types of clients ranging from youth to seniors, overweight/obese to athletes, and those with various injuries and limitations. I received my Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University in Kenisiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Health, and Nutrition. While I was working towards my degree I also reveived the following fitness certifications: NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, NASM-Performance Enhancement Specialist, NASM-Corrective Exercise Specialist, NSCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, AFAA-Certified Personal Trainer. I pride myself in keeping up with this changing profession by furthering my education/knowlege, being able to apply what I've learned to help people, as well as inspire and motivate people to reach their fitness goals.

    I just finished my first week and it feels great! The trainer is very supportive and approachable. I like that he lets me go at my own pace but pushes me to work hard, respectfully. Especially, since I am new to the whole trainer and building muscle :) What I enjoy the most is the workouts are simple to do but work out a variety of muscles. Trust me you feel it the next day and you know your getting stronger.

    The location is also great because it is very accessible and there is always parking.

    Elite Conditioning is awesome, I really like the Boot Camps Coach Jon puts together. Jon organizes a variety of exercises that really has you engaging muscles and focusing on getting stronger, faster, and built!     I would like to add to my "Anonymous" Review above for Jon McQueen and Elite Conditioning. I have been doing Boot Camp since October 2009, and I was so impressed with his knowledge, I started one on one training shortly after that. What impressed me in Boot Camp was his personalized attention of having proper form doing the various exercises and to my particular needs as far as strengthening my arthritic, weak knees. His training and nutrition knowledge are excellent and his Boot Camp is fun, challenging, always different, and he uses a variety of different equipment such as dumbells, kettlebells, weighted balls, bands, ropes, small hurdles. Jon will help you reach your fitness goals and you will improve your health, if you put in the effort!

    Jon McQueen is a superb trainer! My experience with him, after 3 + years, continues to be worth every penny. My goal is to stay strong, be flexible, and maintain my weight. Jon helps me meet my goals. His workouts are challenging, varied, and effective. I work out 2 times per week with Jon, 1 on 1 and then attend a boot camp on Saturdays. It is a perfect arrangement. I recommend Jon as a personal trainer without reservation!

    I have been a client of Jon and Elite Conditioning since October 2009, I am a 55 year old female. He is an excellent trainer and his Boot Camp is fun, challenging, and uses a variety of different equipment and exercises. I have worked with other trainers and gone to another boot camp, but in comparison, Jon is more knowledgeable and more experienced than the others. Jon motivates and pushes you to do your best and at the same time makes sure your form and the intensity of the exercise is adequate for you. I have bad knees, so he modifies the exercises for my needs. I have improved my strength, agility, balance and speed and I have lost inches. I like the Boot Camp which is in beautiful Mission Bay or Balboa Park and the times are compatible with my work schedule.
