Recently named Philly's Best Running Coach by Philadelphia Magazine, John Goldthorp has been changing lives in Center City, Philadelphia for over 14 years. After graduating from Penn State with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, he began coupling his knowledge of exercise science with his passion for helping others exceed their fitness expectations. While he has worked with clients of all ages, goals, and limitations, he is currently focused on helping new and experienced runners achieve their own bragging rights. As a running coach certified by the Road Runners Club of America he is extremely interested in developing safe, yet effective programs for his clients.

Many of his clients come to him because they are frustrated with their lack of progress, some seek his help because they're sick of not fitting into their jeans, still others want to make sure their form is correct because they're afraid of getting hurt.
