I am beginning a free community workout in a local park. Do I need a liability form for participants even if the class is free?

Absolutely! For any program I offer, free or not, all participants have to sign a liability waiver as well as sign in that they attended class on that day. It just covers everyone involved. You can never over document.

Mine is worded similar to a regular waiver except it includes that I am not responsible for any damage to their home or equipment. I used the suggested waiver offered through ACE and then had my lawyer revise it for in-home (mobile) use.
