Jessica, an RYT by the Yoga Alliance at the 500 Hour level, has been practicing and discovering yoga for yoga for over six years and is constantly amazed by the power of this practice to transform one not just physically but mentally as well. She also holds many other certifications in Group Fitness and Personal Training, is a FitTour MASTER PRACTITIONER and is Laughter Yoga Leader Certified. She is completing her hours to be an E-RYT 500, indicating 2000+ hours of teaching. Jessica joyfully continues to delve deeper into her own education through immersions and master classes, Sanskrit studies, and to workshops with beloved and inspiring teachers.
Jessica teaches a compassionate, yet disciplined yoga style making it accessible to students at all levels to develop a deeper relationship with our true self and the world around us. Through our yoga practice, we can learn how to be at ease in our bodies and listen to the greatest teacher within – ourselves.
Having taught private, group classes, teacher trainings and workshops in a wide variety of venues in, Jessica continues to teach at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, local schools, yoga centers and gyms.
Jessica has taken numerous workshops and teacher trainings taught by today's best yoga teachers and would like to express her gratitude for sharing their knowledge to all of them. She was fortunate to complete her 200 hour teacher training with Anna Ferguson and the World Peace Yoga & Motion Studio and 500 hour teacher training with Doug Swenson Sadhana Yoga Chi in 2010 and has completed Ashtanga yoga teacher trainings taught by David Swenson. She also would like to thank Nancy Gilgoff, Sharon Gannon, David Life, David Williams, and Bryan and Jonny Kest and the AcroYoga crew for their influence on her teaching.
She currently resides in the greater Dayton area, contributing to the local southern Ohio yoga community on the go and to sharing her knowledge about all the ways yoga can enrich our lives by also a member of the United Against Violence of Greater Dayton and of the Dayton International Peace Museum.
