There is no best exercise to lose weight however I take this easy saying a person should get stronger and faster over a long period of time. The only thing that I not recommend is traditional aerobic exercise except for in cases of something to do for recovery.

I work with timed intervals in almost all circumstances makes things running more smooth. I do different intervals and exercises and usually never more than four sets of the same exercises but that is not always the case.

Both at the same time. A wise person once said my cardio is done by lifting weights faster. Pushing a prowler, doing advanced bodyweight training or so on will get anyone conditioned. Traditional cardio really does stink in my opinion.
