Jenine Lansing is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. Prior to the birth of her daughter, she worked full time in fitness as a trainer and instructor. She took a... moreJenine Lansing is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. Prior to the birth of her daughter, she worked full time in fitness as a trainer and instructor. Since Evelyn's arrival in 2005, Jenine has attempted to be a stay-at-home-mom and keep active in the work that she loves. She took a brief hiatus from working in the spring of 2010 when her son, Emmett, was born. She was excited to be back to work again in the summer of 2010. Jenine graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1997. After exploring various professional options, she knew she wanted to make fitness a full time job. She started working in gyms and health clubs and eventually, she became certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise. She has worked in varied fitness environments, including YMCAs, clients' homes, large private fitness clubs, and Princeton University. While pregnant with her daughter, Jenine studied and became certified in Prenatal Fitness by AFPA. She found an amazing new client base of expectant mothers who needed to know how to exercise safely during thier pregnancies. Close to her delivery date , Jenine began teaching stroller based exercise classes for moms. She went back to it right after her daughter was born. It was a great way for her to work and be Mommy at the same time. Stroller classes offer Mothers a great workout, encourage them to set healthy examples, and introduce them to other Moms! Jenine still teaches Mom and Baby classes , even though her children have outgrown them. She enjoys helping future mommies maintain their fitness levels throughout their pregnancies, in addition to helping them regain their pre baby shapes after their children arrive. A woman’s body changes dramatically in order to deliver a baby and appropriate exercises can not only keep the mother healthy, but it can actually make her pregnancy easier! Jenine thinks it’s especially important to exercise safely during pregnancy in order to have healthy mothers and babies. She feels that continuing a fitness routine after having a baby sets wonderful healthy examples for kids and families. Although she sees a lot of Moms in the gym, Jenine enjoys working with all types of clients, especially the new exerciser. She likes helping people become more familiar with equipment and routines to make them less intimidated by the gym and exercise, leading to healthier lifestyles. Her belief in a consistent program of safe and effective exercises is a key component in having clients reach their goals. In addition to her other certifications, Jenine is also certified as an Aerobic Kickboxing instructor through AAFA.. She loves the workout that will not only burn calories, but will provide stress relief and toning as well! Jenine has loved kickboxing workouts since she was new to exercising and likes to encorperate punching and kicking elements into her regular routines. She has also gone on to attain a Mat Pilates certification from AAAI/ISMA. Many Pilates techniques are not only helpful to the average exerciser, but can be essential to the expectant mother. Jenine enjoys using Pilates methods in her personal training. She believes that everyone can benefit from a strong core! Most of Jenine’s time outside of work is spent being mom to Evelyn and Emmett. In any free time she can find, Jenine studies and competes in karate, tries to fit in her own workouts, hangs out with her husband, and takes lots of pictures of her kids and of her dog. less

A combination of professionalism and experience makes Jenine a top notch instructor. She has the ability to take a group of people ( all with different backgrounds, sizes, shapes and fitness levels) and pull us together to have an incredible workout. When I leave a group session with her, I feel stronger, more confident and proud. Jenine is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their fitness goals.

Jenine is awesome in both personal sessions and leading groups. She consistently provides fun and challenging workouts that push me further than the week before and make me do more than I thought I could. She does a great job of tailoring to clients' needs and goals and always manages to make me laugh and keep me motivated.

Jenine's workouts are always fun never mundane - the time flies by. She switches things up so you're always being challenged and encourages you to push your self to reach your goals and beyond.
