Heike is an enthusiastic and inspiring trainer. She really cares about her clients and how they’re progressing in their exercise program. As someone who suffered from back and hip pain for a number of years (along with episodic pain in my knees, shoulders, elbows, etc.) I needed someone with a thorough understanding of body mechanics, who could focus on exercises to help alleviate pain, but able to switch on the spot to a more appropriate exercise to avoid exacerbating whatever episodic pain I experienced the day of any given session. After working with Heike, my back and hip pain was substantially reduced and the episodic joint pains became less frequent. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Heike, and although I am no longer attending sessions due to extenuating circumstances, Heike is my “go to” Pilates instructor and all-around "inspirational person".

Thank you Lou Ann! It was a pleasure working with you. Seeing you feel better each and every day was inspiring to me. Keep it up there is so much to do in life.

Heike is without a doubt the best trainer I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable, funny and empathetic. I have back issues and she was better than any physical therapist at determining what would and wouldn't help me strengthen it. However she's not just for people with injuries or those who need physical therapy. If you want a killer workout to get you into shape she can do that too. I can't recommend her enough.

Thank you Beth! Baby steps in your training plan have given you much more confidence and strength. Listening to your body and taking the right approach each time will make your core even stronger. Keep up the good work and your body will respond the right way.

I join a long list of Heike aficionados. I was with another trainer when I first met her and was immediately attracted to her by her sunny (or sun-like) persona and humor-laced quips. At that time I overheard her gently remonstrate with an elderly client who hadn't done his exercises; she was both consoling and correcting--a very fine balance. I thought, what delicacy and refinement, and yet bluntness! It's a form of love, this interaction, isn't it, so personal, so positive, so nurturing.

Heike is a talented thoughtful and multifaceted trainer. Working with her has been a joy. She has worked with me since I conpleted cancer surgery, chemo and radiation. Returning to strength has enabled me to take back my life. She is a consumate professional and a bright spot in my day. I can wholehearted recommend her to anyone, regardless of fitness level. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their traniner.

Heike is the type of trainer we all think we deserve but seldom get. She tailors her training specifically to the needs of her clients and keeps it interesting as she does it.
She is extremely well informed and has extensive experience in Pilates, marathons and yoga-- she listens and adjusts as she personalizes each session. Plus she is personable and warm.

I was having back pain due to poor posture and knee injury. In less than one month I have corrected some of my problems and have a plan to move to better health. As one leaves her studio it is common to see long term clients who praise her without reservation.
She must be one of the best in the area.

I am glad we found each other and your curious nature make our session all the more interesting.
