I agree with Karin. I have never heard of an organization like IDEA giving out grants. You could also contact your local Alderman or state representative to see if they have any suggestions.

Hi Jorge, Yes it is safe. Just make sure you keep a correct form (just as if you were using only a barbell). This is up to you (or the client). Unless you or the client is diabetic (or has a medical condition that requires to consume calories before working out), eating before working out is optional. At the gym where I currently offer some of my classes they do not reimburse for any certifications taken by their trainers. It's a good idea though.

Video games no, but fitness and personal training Apps can prove to be tough a competition for trainers.
