I agree with the above. You should be good to go anytime you want after the yoga class. I have actually taught kettlebell classes right after yoga (it was a fusion class of kettlebells and yoga).

I usually like to do cardio before my resistance training and I use it as part of my warm up. But there are days when I do the cardio after my resistance training, so I would confuse my body and mind and challenge myself in a different way.

Having a cuff around the wrist connected to a cable is a great way of performing upper body exercises for a client who has injuries as yours does. The possibilities are many as long as you can provide enough imagination and creativity (as long there is a medical clearance in place).
