I am passionate about fitness and I love sharing my knowledge about exercise and a healthy lifestyle with my clients. I'm not a drill sergeant, I'm more of a personable coach that motivates you to move and work your body in ways you didn't know were possible. Watching someone transform and enjoy a fitter, healthier lifestyle is very rewarding. Depending on your fitness level, I modify or progress the program with expertise and attentiveness. Customized programs are designed according to goals, strengths, motivations and challenges. One on one sessions provide provide total body conditioning for fat burning, toning and sculpting, increased strength, cardio and muscle endurance and enhanced flexibility. I specialize in training women of all ages and the wide age range is so important because I can see both sides of the spectrum and create programs accordingly. The first meeting with me includes a fitness assessment and a review of eating habits and lifestyle. Sessions start with a dynamic warm up. The work phase involves compound and fat burning exercises and core strength. A relaxing stretch concludes the session. I have a small private fitness area in Crown Heights and I also travel to client's homes. Outdoor workouts and apartment gym sessions are also available. The most valued body, is your own body.     Gail is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more exercises, pushing myself harder throughout each session. She also ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. I actually look forward to my workouts. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gail as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals. Will be writing another review after completing my goals!

    I thoroughly enjoy working out with Gail. Her workout routines are varied and fun. In just a few weeks I've seen and felt a noticeable difference. I'm stronger, more flexible, and my endurance has increased. The exercises are tailored to me and I can easily replicate the routines at home in between our sessions. I definitely recommend Gail to anyone who's looking to expand their exercise routine - whether you're just getting started or consider yourself an athlete. Everyone can benefit from Gail's approach to exercise.

    I joined Gail McGhie's group fitness classes 7 weeks ago and I'm so glad that I did! I love to eat but I hate working out. Gail is amazing at what she does -- I was so impressed by the way she motivated me and actually made fitness fun!! I love working with the group as it pushes me more. We have a few exercises where we partner up and Gail personalizes each workout with music and a routine for all levels. I started off taking classes once a week and have just increased to twice a week. I actually look forward to my group works outs and love that I feel and look stronger.

    I loathe exercise, my preference is a good book and a few bon bons. However, my doctor has a different agenda and he insisted I exercise at least three times a week. This is where Gail McGhie comes in. I have been working with Gail for a few months now in my home. I only regret that I did not start doing this years ago. First Gail has the patience of a Saint, and I also found it can be fun to exercise.
    I am eighty three years old. Although it has only been three or four months of a steady routine... I am already much more limber, I stand straighter and I can touch my toes. Getting up from a reclining or seated position has become so much easier.

    I thought I was in fairly good shape & I thought I knew everything there was to know about exercise & fitness until Gail ran me through a TRX workout. She breezed through the routine while I struggled to keep up with her (ego thing). Her knowledge of exercise physiology and her coaching techniques bring a whole new dimension of fitness training into play. She helps you to improve balance and fluidity in movement and flexibility while strengthening your core in a challenging but fun workout. I would recommend her to anyone who seeks overall fitness whether you are just starting out or looking for variety in your workouts.
