Francesca Fisher is the Regional Director and Managing Member of Geri-Fit Company LLC. The company sells its licensed Geri-Fit® strength training exercise program for older adults to gyms, health clubs, senior centers, retirement centers, physical therapy clinics and other locations that are interested in offering a group exercise class for the older population. Prior to selling her Ohio Body Sculpting company and moving to California in 2009, Ms. Fisher produced and starred in her own line of fitness dvds such as 15 Exercises That Help to Prevent Osteoporosis, Geri-Fit -- the First Workout with Weights for Older Adults, Weights I, II, and III, Phenomenal Abdominals, Teen-Fit, Back-Fit with Pilates, Just Legs, Stretch This, and Golf-Fit which she sells on her website,

In researching and developing her strength training programs, Ms. Fisher worked closely with a medical advisory committee consisting of doctors, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and other health professionals. She presented her programs and methods to several prestigious organizations, including the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, the United States Weightlifting Federation, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and Metro Health General Hospital. The Geri-Fit® exercise program was also part of a 2010 study conducted by the University of Texas Arlington under the direction of Dr. Christopher Ray.

Ms. Fisher is a former international competitive bodybuilder and titleholder, and has served as a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association Advisory Committee. She is currently an advisory board member for the International Weightlifting Association. She was chosen as one of Cleveland's Top 10 Women Business Owners by the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners in 1998.

In 2012, the Geri-Fit® exercise program signed an agreement with American Specialty Health to include the Geri-Fit® exercise program as part of the Silver&Fit approved exercise programs covered under Medicare Advantage.

In February, 2013, the Geri-Fit Company received certification from WBENC as a certified woman-owned business. In addition, the Geri-Fit Company is a registered and an approved government vendor.

Ms. Fisher is a published author and has been featured in national magazines across the country such as Glamour, Body Wise, Muscle Training Illustrated, Fitness Management, Crain’s Cleveland Business, Healthsense, NewsWeek, and others. She is also a free lance writer for national health and fitness magazines, and a frequent presenter at trade shows and conventions.
