Erin Scott received her BSc in Biology from Virginia Tech in 2000 and began her fitness career in Boston, MA. She is a Master Trainer for Beachbody, providing ACE/AFAA/NASM continuing education in the southern United States. Erin is an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor, teaching high-energy classes such as Turbo Kick, INSANITY and PiYo Live. She also holds an ACE Personal Trainer certificate. In November of 2010, Erin was recognized as the Healthworks Foundation Volunteer of the Month and in July 2011 was given the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award. In late 2012, Erin relocated to southern Alabama to help start a church. The move prompted "early retirement" from her career as a neuroscientist with Harvard and MIT and she quickly transitioned into fitness full-time. Erin loves to dance and is passionate about all styles of music—but especially rockabilly, punk, hip hop and rock. She has a passion for lifting others up and helping people see their fullest potential. Her mission is to help people experience the fun and excitement of fitness.

My name is Tedi Jolley and I am a PiYo Live instructor in Monroe, La. Erin was my certification instructor about a month ago in Jackson , MS. She is an AWESOME instructor and genuinely great person as well! I really connected with her during certification, Erin, like myself truly seems to love people and wants to help motivate them and help them to attain their goals!!!

She's an amazing instructor and an awesome person all around! She genuinely loves to help people make the most out of their fitness journeys, by making her workouts both fun and effective. I always have a blast in her classes!

My name is Leah Kinniburgh and I live in Daphne, Alabama. I was looking for a personal trainer to work with me (one on one) at my home, and my husband actually found Erin on IDEA Fitness Connect. I have worked with another personal trainer in the past, and I knew that whoever I got that I would be comparing with that trainer because she was so good.

Within a week of contacting Erin, she was at my house for our first meeting and we instantly bonded. I immediately knew that Erin was the person that I was looking for to help me with my fitness goals.

I am 56 years old and know how important it is to stay in shape as I get older. When I told her this, she immediately told me that "age was just a number" and that she could help me with my balance (which was one of my concerns) and build my core strength which is what is needed as we age.

She works with me twice a week and I absolutely love her. Not only is she my wonderful trainer, motivator and fitness coach, but she has become wonderful friend that I adore. She is full of energy and always has a smile on her face.

The title "sillyfit" is so perfect for Erin because we have so much fun together. She works me extremely hard, and I am exhausted when she leaves. But, we have laughed so much during that hour together that I don't even think about how much I am sweating until she is gone and I realize that I am soaked from how hard I have worked.

I also go to Erin's Piyo group fitness class. She is just as amazing as a group instructor as she is with me in the one on one setting. Erin truly cares that everyone of us does the moves the right way and that we are all having fun during the workout.

As my trainer and coach, I know I can text Erin any time that I have a question or need her advice and she gets back to me very quickly. It is very obvious that she is extremely dedicated to helping me stay on track.

Erin is just awesome and I am so blessed to have found her! Thank you Erin Scott for all you have done for me in just one short month!

I started taking Erin's Turbo Kick classes in 2010 (my first group fitness class EVER!) and Erin quickly went from fitness instructor to fitness mentor is just a few short months. Her classes were (and are!) so much fun, she is full of energy, spunk, and WOW! After attending her classes regularly, it became clear to me that Erin is someone who is always willing to help others reach their goals, and always makes herself available. Before I knew it, I was getting certified to teach Turbo Kick myself with Erin's encouragement and support - I would never have done it without her. Erin is a fantastic motivator and she really cares about you as an individual, she always wants what's best for you - and she'll always push you a little out of your comfort zone :) I can safely say that without Erin's influence in my life I would not be going for my national fitness certification and beginning to teach my own fitness classes. Erin, you ROCK, and you will forever be my Turbo den mama ;)
