I became a client of Dave's after having been with at least 2 other personal trainers prior. I was never very active, being overweight most of my life from about kindergarten on. (Mind you I was 28 when I started training with Dave). He made me believe that I could do something, no matter how "hard" it seemed at first. He never made me feel weak or dumb when it came to fitness. Dave also is one big reason I am still keeping up with my fitness routine today. I would still be training with him if my job hadn't taken me out of the area. I also recommended him to other people at the fitness center. Dave has a love for people, fitness and bringing the 2 together!

I originally went to the fitness center because I had never exercised a day in my life. I could not even walk up a flight of stairs without becoming very short of breath. Dave is a fantastic personal trainer and I would recommend him to any of my friends. He is very encouaging and supportive. He designed my own fitness program and in 4 weeks I had dropped 12% body fat. Really gets you motivated and keeps your self-esteem up. Very knowledgable about body mechanics. I could not even lay flat without a pillow. Caused significant pain to my neck and upper back. In 2 months we made dramatic improvement. My posture and self confidence is so much better since training with Dave. Very compassionate. When I felt like I could just not push myself anymore, he never belittled me and always made me feel like a winner!!

My name is Ellen; I am a nurse and taking care of patients at the hospital realizing I was no healthier then those I was taking care of, being on blood pressure medications, being overweight, and not eating healthy or exercising, so along with getting my husband to join Anytime Fitness I was paired up with Dave to be my trainer. I had tried loosing weight throughout my life, always being overweight, I wanted to give it what I considered one last try, and knowing the cost of being unhealthy I believed the cost of a trainer and getting healthy now would be much less then continueing on the road I was on and being unhealthy as I got older. I now believe Dave has given me my life back and truely a life of good health and energy. I worked with Dave for 6 months, and it was intense, but he got me to do things I never believed were possible. He never gave up on me, helped me realize how important and how big nutrition is along with exercise. He was honest with me and monitored me very closely. I am now off that blood pressure medication and have surpassed my initial goal I made when I started with Dave. I have continued to work out 5-6 days a week and feel better then I have in many years, weigh less and wear a smaller size then I did in high school 31 years ago. A few things I never forget when I am in a tough workout, something Dave told me everytime he worked with me, "Come on Ellen always finish strong, you can do 5 more". I will say I am blessed having my husband to work out with me, as we both have changed our lifestyle to be healthy and active, but it was Dave who inspired me to be all I can be and then some. Thank you Dave, you gave me a new outlook on life, and a lifetime of good health and an enjoyment to be active.

Dave is like having your own personal cheer leader. He believes in you before you do and then brings you to that point of seeing that you can do way more than you ever thought. He is very well educated in knowing what our bodies can do and he knows exactly where and how to start you out to get you to where you want to go. That includes any physical limitation you may have

When I met Dave I was less than 6 months removed from having my doctors tell me I wasn't going to make it out of the hospital. I was almost 250 pounds, having breathing issues, fighting back from complete renal failure, cardiac issues, joint problems and etc. I did good to walk and if I did I was out of breath very fast. Dave showed alot of compassion and care as he helped me learn to walk, then run, than regain my flexibility and getting my old joints moving again. I was 69 when I met Dave and thought it was too late for me. Now I am 72 and have run half marathons, gotten into Guinness for breaking the record for the abdominal plank and my joints don't ache and I can move. I recently broke the 10 minute mile barrior and it's all because of my trainer. He is compassionate as he pushes you to reach what you are capable of doing. On the times I can't do something all though I've given it everything I have, he makes me feel like a winner and usually within a month he has me doing that very thing I couldn't do just a month earlier. I have gone from a size 22 to a size 4 and have learned to like myself as he has given me self confindence. I know feel like the sky is the limit and that I can train myself to achieve anything. I don't feel like a loser anymore
