ACSM Health Fitness Specialist tends to have more clout because it is an extensive exam. While the ACE personal trainer exam is not easy, it does not involve exercise testing and metabolic calculations. NCSA's CSCS also requires a four year degree, and tends to be more sports oriented.

You may want to check HIPPA guidelines on record keeping electronically, and any record transfers, if there is any client sensitive information. Additionally, any sensitive client information on hard copies may need to be under lock and key.
