My mission is to encourage and empower people to use movement as a facilitator and indicator of health and educate them on how to move more efficiently, ultimately leading to a healthy better-balanced life. It has been my lifelong passion, and fortunately for me my full time career for the last 20 years, to bring fun, effective, and efficient fitness programs to individuals and groups. I have a B.S. in Nutritional Science from Pepperdine University. I am a Gray Institute Fellow of Applied Functional Science and as such, have studied under world-renowned Physical Therapist, Gary Gray and Dr. David Tiberio. Additionally, I am an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health and Fitness Specialist and an American Council on Exercise Certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant.
As a Movement Therapist, I personalize movement/exercise programs based on the unifying principles of human movement science and integrate an eclectic approach to apply strategies to optimize each client’s time and to achieve results. A thorough functional analysis process is used to evaluate and plan a comprehensive program to address each individual’s wants and needs in regards to their daily activities, recreation, sport, and overall health, fitness, and well being. I will also educate and empower YOU to take control of YOUR personal health and fitness.
