Blaine Brignell began his interest in the health sciences early in 2005, when he lost over 70 pounds by following an ethic of hard work and proper diet. This proved a paradigm shift for Blaine, realizing within himself a potential that was previously hidden. Embracing this healthy change, he began a vigorous program of exercise. In Spring of 2007 he completed his first marathon in Nashville, Tennessee. Blaine continued his physical conditioning while attending college in Florida, later moving to Portland, Oregon as a means of fully reaching his newly discovered potential. There he began his training in Kyokushin Karate.
In mid 2009 Blaine sustained traumatic damage to both knees. Rehabilitation of these injuries led to a study of kinesiology. Combined with his experiences in physical therapy, Blaine was soon adding new techniques and knowledge to his growing pool of experience. Increasingly he found others seeking his advice on fitness and injury prevention, and after helping several family members achieve fitness goals, as well as being heartened by his own example, he decided to put his passion and knowledge to good use.
Attending the National Personal Training Institute, a state-recognized, diplomate school, Blaine Brignell graduated with high marks at the turn of the decade. After acquiring his T.W.-C.C. Advanced-Certified Personal Trainer (A-CPT) certification, he began training motivated individuals with sincere desire to improve their health. He is currently pursuing his degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine.
