I want to help people live healthier lives.

That's my mission statement and it's really that simple.

I wrote it in a journal in my late 20's when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. My career as a writer producer in television wasn't filling that particular nook and cranny. Not to mention the stress in that industry was slowly going to kill me!

I loved writing and producing. I loved looking at stats and turning the information around into messaging. I loved health and fitness and learning about mechanics of movement, behavior change, and nutrition.

Years before that, a college counselor told me I needed to "narrow my focus" and that my passions were "too broad". While he may have been right, I didn't exactly listen to him. I pursued both and prayed someday the two would merge into a career I could pay my bills with. After many years of hard work, dedication, study, prayer, and more work - Voila!

Fusion Health Training & Corporate Wellness Solutions was born!

Like most babies, it took a while. Okay, longer than an actual baby, but who's counting? That span gave me amazing opportunities and over 25 years experience cultivating knowledge in the health and fitness industry as well as marketing, promotion, and business management.

I have been a group exercise instructor since the age of 22 and garnered my first personal training certification at 24. I loved movement. Honestly, I was the kid riding my bike all day, climbing trees, swimming, playing soccer, and working out to the Jane Fonda records(yes, records) in middle school. I realized at a young age, however, that not all people like to move and struggle with their health on many levels.

From television, to the American Heart Association and marketing and business management for a physical therapy company, I steadily built a unique skill set. The lists of things I can do, and have done, are long. Quite frankly, I have a hard time touting my horn like that. So please visit my LinkedIn page for those details.

I offer corporate wellness solutions services by working with human resource teams in evaluating current initiatives, overall goals and objectives, and designing multi-level strategies to promote and implement wellness programs. I specialize in cost effective strategies to meet small to medium business needs.
I like to focus on two areas:
1. Helping the aging workforce so they can retire and actually enjoy it. 2. Reaching millennials (and younger generations) on the importance of basic health practices for disease prevention, fun living, and functional aging.

I have been teaching and training for over 25 years and I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Weight Management Specialist. I am also a member of IDEA and WELCOA.

I have extensive experience teaching a variety of strength training techniques and protocols. I am a TRX trainer (over 9 years), Les Mills Body Pump instructor, Bosu, SMR certified and educated in youth and senior fitness. I am pre/post-natal certified for exercise and have continuing education in Kettlebell training, integrated core training, neuromuscular stretching, cardiovascular training for performance and more. I am also a runner and cyclist (with a stint in the pre-kid days doing many, many triathlons). I am Heart zones, Threshold and Blue Jersey certified and have been teaching indoor cycling for 18 years.

I offer strength training, interval, cycling and boot camp classes as well as personal training at Vista Grande Community Center. I also offer online nutrition and behavior change programs.

Becky is an experienced and highly effective trainer. Her training sessions are fast moving that incorporate the total body with emphasis on strength, balance, agility, flexibility and core components. You get all of this plus a blast of high intensity cardio bouts throughout the session.
If you are serious about total body fitness Becky is without a doubt the one for you!

We are so fortunate to have Becky here in the East Mountains, she would be a star wherever she taught. She is genuinely interested in
each of us and helps us all to improve and get stronger. I have gotten
much stronger in the year I've been attending her classes and look
forward to every Monday and Thursday. It's nice to know I can do
classes even with knee issues, I actually think I feel better after class
is over then before. I know it wakes me up!

Becky makes it easy to go to class. Her enthusiasm is infectious and every class is designed to keep things motivating as well as worthwhile. I have dvds and equipment at home but go to Becky's classes a few times a week because I push myself more and for her great tips on correct form. A stellar instructor & great personality to match!

Becky MacGregor's classes are educational and challenging. She values functional training over machine training, and this approach is both more fun and more effective than machine workouts. Becky has a wealth of information that she shares during workouts regarding newest research on the musculoskeletal system. I especially appreciate her advice and exercises that offset the body's negative responses to aging.
