That's my mission statement and it's really that simple.
I have been a group exercise instructor since the age of 22 and garnered my first personal training certification at 24. I loved movement. Honestly, I was the kid riding my bike all day, climbing trees, swimming, playing soccer, and working out to the Jane Fonda records(yes, records) in middle school. I realized at a young age, however, that not all people like to move and struggle with their health on many levels.

I offer corporate wellness solutions I specialize in cost effective strategies to meet small to medium business needs.
I like to focus on two areas:
1. Helping the aging workforce so they can retire and actually enjoy it.
2. Reaching millennials (and younger generations) on the importance of basic health practices for disease prevention, fun living, and functional aging.
I have been teaching and training for over 25 years and I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Weight Management Specialist. I am also certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, a member of IDEA and WELCOA.
I have extensive experience teaching a variety of strength training techniques and protocols. I am a TRX trainer (over 9 years), Les Mills Body Pump instructor, Bosu, SMR certified and educated in youth and senior fitness. I am pre/post-natal certified for exercise and have continuing education in Kettlebell training, integrated core training, neuromuscular stretching, cardiovascular training for performance and more. I am also a runner and cyclist (with a stint in the pre-kid days doing many, many triathlons). I am Heart zones, Threshold and Blue Jersey certified and have been teaching indoor cycling for 18 years.
I offer strength training, interval, cycling and boot camp classes as well as personal training at Vista Grande Community Center. I also offer online nutrition and behavior change programs.
