She began leading classes in 2004 as part of the fitness ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. After 20 years in the advertising sales industry, Barbara’s passion for fitness and exercise led her to create B Squared Fitness in 2008. The mission of B Squared Fitness is to provide affordable and convenient group classes and personal training while maintaining outstanding quality and service. Barbara provides a variety of fitness programs to target those who are looking for affordable fitness options, such as corporate fitness boot camps, in-home personal training and faith-based fitness boot camps. She maintains her group fitness instructor and personal trainer certifications from National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) and keeps up with the latest health and fitness information through continuing education courses. Barbara is a wife, mother and active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoys races from 5k to 1/2 marathon and workouts for fun. less

Barbara is a wonderful instructor! She is tough and encouraging so you always feel you can give her a little bit more. I've actually missed boot camp this summer and I'm looking forward to the start up in September. I felt my progress before I saw it on the scale. I like all the variations in the workouts so you never know what each class will bring.

Barbara is amazing for the unmotivated and motivated! She has constantly changing workouts that she lets you modify according to your ability. Barbara explains how to do each exercise to get the most benefit for your body. I have given her complete credit for reshaping my body! Barbara takes personal interest in you and even though some workouts are pretty strenous...you feel like you have really conquered the world when your finished!

Barbara is a very energetic person and keeps her classes interesting and very light hearted. Barbra understands the needs of those that must make modifications to their workout. She helps those individuals find that right modification that will still give them the best workout. After many years of not working out it was hard to keep up that first six weeks of boot camp. Barbra never let us down she just kept on encouraging everyone to do what they can the best they can.

I thoroughly enjoy working out with Barbara. She keeps the workouts fun and interesting while challenging you at the same time. She encourages each of us to do our best. I never feel left out even when I'm lagging behind, she's right there with me.

Barbara is my hero! Through her boot camp class at Immanuel I have been able to lose 70 pounds. The first night I went I thought, "Oh man! This class is way above my station." But through perseverance and because of Barbara's attitude I kept going. She is fun and funny and she makes workouts seem like play - unless she brings the paper plates!!! I have more energy and actually look forward to Tuesday and Thursday nights. She makes working out a pleasure - well at least most of the time! I can't wait to get back to boot camp in the fall! Thanks Barbara!

Barbara is a great instructor! She is both personally and professionally a great person. I actually hate working out but Barbara makes it bearable.... OK she makes it fun:) That is saying a lot for me! lol... Another thing I like about Barbara is that she provides great service for such a reasonable price! Right now we are on a break but whenever I was faithfully attending her classes I looked the best I've ever looked. I had more energy, too. Thank you Barbara!

I have attended Barbara's classes for a couple of years. I would recommend her classes because she keeps workouts interesting by adding new excercies and new activities. She also works with students with injuries and health problems by make modifications to the workouts.

Barbara has been a great inspiration to me. I was walking and jogging before I came to her class, which wasn't giving me overwhelming benefits, but then adding her class really helped me obtain my goal weight. I am now addicted to her bootcamp workouts and feel challenged each time. I go home feeling that I have accomplished a lot and feel healthier. I would recommend her camp to anyone interested in maintaining their health.
